High Street Community Centre, also known as Sai Ying Pun Community Complex is a 9-story building built on the grounds where an old mental asylum used to stand. Nowadays, the only original and preserved parts of the hospital are the granite facade and arched verandah.
This building is yet another one in line of those that Japanese soldiers used for murder and torture, which quickly sparked rumors about building giving off a really "creepy vibe".
There have been regular reports about people hearing screams coming from the halls and seeing figures that roam the building halls at night.
Nowadays it is used as old people's nursing home.
